MobileArq Privacy & Security Policy
The privacy of our users is extremely important at LocalArq Inc., doing business as MobileArq. Thus, MobileArq (‘we’ or ‘us’) will never voluntarily share your personal information with anyone else, and everything you access here is in a secure environment.
MobileArq collects and stores a variety of personal information and usage data when you sign up, browse the site, or contact us.
MobileArq will never voluntarily share or sell any of your personal information, except in the very limited circumstances where you tell us to or where we need to comply with law enforcement.
General Collection of Information. MobileArq collects various types of user data and information. For instance, we collect and store the information you submit to us when you register or upgrade your account, the email addresses of those who communicate with us, site tracking data on the pages you visit on MobileArq only, and most other information that you voluntarily submit to us. The information we collect is used solely to provide you a rich user experience where you can quickly and easily access your parent directory and is not shared with or sold to any other organization for any reason at all, commercial or not.
Possible Exceptions. While MobileArq promises to never share or sell your data to other organizations, there are a few instances where we may have to provide it to other entities. The only situations where MobileArq will share your personal information are under the following, very limited circumstances:
- When you have given MobileArq express permission to share your information with any third party.
- If it is necessary to share your information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of MobileArq’s Terms and Conditions, or as otherwise required by law.
- If MobileArq is acquired by, or merged into, another company after you have had the opportunity to review any changes to any terms and potentially remove your data.
Types of Information
MobileArq collects the registration and account information that you or your school has submitted. The only data MobileArq will share with third parties is objective, non-personally identifiable usage data, such as browser statistics and URL tracking. We also store small cookies on your computer so that your session can continue without the need to log in every time. We never store permanent cookies, and this is only done as a service for you.
The Types of Information
Collected Registration and Account Information. When you sign up for MobileArq, the minimum information we collect from you is your name, email address, and password for logging in. During registration, you may also provide MobileArq your address, phone number, and billing information like credit card numbers. While most of this information is stored in MobileArq databases, no credit card information is ever saved and any password you submit is immediately encrypted. We never store any passwords in plain text anywhere, and it is impossible for MobileArq to recover any password you use.
Usage and Tracking Data. As you browse and use MobileArq, we also collect a variety of usage data, such as the pages you browse, how long you stay on them, which site you came from, and other objective data on how you interact with the site. While MobileArq attaches your personally identifiable information to this tracking data that is stored in our own databases, no personally identifiable information is ever stored or shared with any third party site tracking service, such as Google Analytics. The tracking data provided to Google Analytics by MobileArq will never contain your account or other personal information.
Parent Information. MobileArq also stores parent directory information provided by your school PTO/PTA/HSA and all other content that you submit to MobileArq as you use the site. We store this information to provide you the MobileArq service so that you can access everything you save, whenever you want. All information that you store is only accessible by you when you log in (or the students that you have authorized). We never share information, distribute it, or sell it for any reason.
How to Hide Your Information from General View
Hiding Your Account. You can request to hide your account and information from the general view at any time if you wish. To hide your account information, please contact the school MobileArq administrator. Alternatively, you can email MobileArq at email@example.com with your user information. We may update these policies, but will always notify you of anything major beforehand. Contact us with any questions! We love hearing from you.
Changes to This Policy. MobileArq may periodically update this policy. If we do, we will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. Disclosure. As mentioned above, MobileArq may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms and Conditions or any applicable law.
