PTA/PTO in the cloud

What is the PTA in a cloud? What is the “cloud” anyway? These days almost all data is stored permanently on a private and secure place that can be accessed via the internet. Typically, the remote server that a user is accessing via the web interface is the “the cloud”. Data in the “cloud” does not mean anyone can see it – only the authorized users would be able to access the data. Data could be your PTA’s documents, forms or whatever you might want to store on the cloud. A PTA/PTO deals with secure and private data and financials year after year, as they build the student directory and run half a dozen fundraisers each year. A Mobile Website or a Native App for Your Mobile School Directory?

A web app or a native app to access a mobile school directory? Mobile Website or App, their Differences and Benefits?

Smartphone and mobile device users access mobile websites and apps for specific tasks.  The distinction between the Mobile Websites and Apps dictates their usage and application.  Yet, the user uses these two terms interchangeably.  So, what is a Mobile Website and how does it differ from an App? Choosing a Strong Password

The security of your password-protected system is largely dependent upon the ‘strength’ of your password.  If the password you have selected is weak, then, easier it is for a hacker to ‘decode’ your password using sophisticated and brute force programs that that are VERY good at guessing common passwords.  Choosing a good password is difficult.
